Sheffield Manor Lodge Wedding – The Most Dreamy Barn Wedding in Sheffield – With Pizza, Tulips & Sheffield skyline!

Hi lovely people! I’m Beth – a Derbyshire Wedding Photographer who’s slightly obsessed with love stories, golden hour light, and capturing all those gorgeously candid moments that you’ll treasure forever.

If you’re here, chances are you’re planning your big day (congrats!) or you’re just having a cheeky scroll for inspo. Either way, let me take you on a little visual journey to one of Derbyshires most wholesome weddings venues that I’ve ever had the joy of photographing – a rustic-chic barn wedding in Sheffield, Derbyshire that honestly still makes me tear up (happy tears, obviously).

A Sheffield Barn Wedding Dream

I had the absolute honour of being the Sheffield Wedding Photographer for Tom & Kirsty who tied the knot in Manor Oaks House at Sheffield Manor Lodge in April 2025. The day honestly looked like it’d been plucked straight from a Scandi fairy tale. I’m a sucker for barn venues, but this one? On another level. Rustic without feeling dated, beautifully restored with just the right amount of charm and warmth – and with SO much room for personal touches. If you’re a planning an indoor wedding, outdoor wedding, or even a DIY wedding, I cannot recommend Sheffield Manor Lodge for your wedding highly enough!

The Florals – A Wildflower Wonderland

I have to shout out the insanely talented florist, Kirsty at BLUM Floral based in Bolsover. Kirsty pulled together the most stunning floral arrangements – a mix of white and dusty pink blossoms with lush green foliage.

The bouquet? It looked like it had just been scooped up from a meadow. Natural, loose, and totally romantic. The barn was decorated with matching florals on a rustic ceremony stand, complimenting the country farm house beautifully. It was laid-back but beautiful – exactly the vibe Tom & Kirsty were going for.

Pizzas, Prosecco & the Best Party Ever

Now, if you know me, you know I live for the food at weddings – and this one did NOT disappoint. The couple opted for an outdoor wood-fired pizza van for their evening food (how cool is that?), and it was a total hit.

The caterers – Wood Fire Pizza Co – were incredible. During the day, we had a relaxed family-style feast with locally-sourced meats, seasonal veggies, and the most mouth-watering chocolate brownie (literally drooling just thinking about it). Then later, when the fairy lights twinkled on and the wine flowed freely, out came the pizzas – all served hot and fresh on wooden boards. Honestly, I don’t know what was better – the food or watching everyone try to dance with a slice in hand!

Why I Love Being a Sheffield Wedding Photographer

There’s just something about Sheffield weddings – the pace, the people, and lets be honest, Yorkshire folk have the best banter! I always leave with my heart full and memory cards bursting. Being a Sheffield wedding photographer means I get to visit some of the most gorgeous Derbyshire Wedding Venues and meet couples who value authenticity over tradition, and love over perfection.

Final Thoughts – Would I Photograph Another Sheffield Barn Wedding? YES x1000

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s heartfelt, unpretentious, and filled with joy (and pizza), I can’t recommend Sheffield Manor Lodge enough.

To Tom & Kirsty, – thank you for letting me be part of your day. And to future couples – if you’re looking for a photographer who’ll cry during your vows, hype you up like your bestie, and sneak you away for dreamy drone photography at sunset – you know where to find me!
