I was particularly excited about my journey from rainy Manchester to the serene landscapes of the Welsh countryside. This venue is truly a hidden treasure amidst the expansive fields and charming forests of Wales—it's clear why this couple decided to tie the knot here.
Rustic Autumn Wedding
Plas Isaf Country Barn & Gardens is a stunning wood-beamed wedding barn that hosts exclusive weddings and events. If a rustic barn venue with ample natural light is what you seek, Plas Isaf could be the venue for you!
Holly & Jason exchanged their vows surrounded by their closest family and friends, in front of the charming stone walls, with a harpist beautifully serenading the occasion.
In line with their wilderness theme, Holly & Jason had Casper the Owl deliver their rings down the aisle! This was the cutest part of the day. Although Casper initially got stage fright, he was eventually coaxed down and delivered the rings safely, providing all the guests with a good laugh!
The wilderness theme extended to the enchanting entertainment the couple organised; their guests were astonished by the variety of birds of prey the couple had arranged for the day, with even young Harper daring to hold the owls!
Following some drinks and a stroll around the grounds for photos, everyone took their seats for the speeches. The tables were decorated with arrangements of autumnal red and orange leaves, showcasing Jason's cherished car miniatures, representing both aspects of the couple. It was incredibly romantic and perfectly set the mood for their cozy autumnal reception.
With the evening drawing in, everyone headed back to the stone barn to dance the night away. Holly & Jason started the party by dancing to one of my favourite songs by Rag & Bone Man "Lovers in a Past Life.” The perfect ending to an incredible day.
